In 2006, Court Monitoring Service was established to assist Washington courts by providing alternatives to incarceration. This is done through Electronic Home Monitoring and Alcohol Monitoring programs. Having done extensive research regarding criminal patterns and rehabilitation, we found that recidivism rates drop by 36% when E.H.M. is utilized in lieu of detention. Armed with this information, we set out to provide a service that would both save the Washington court system money, as well as provide an alternative to jail for our clients. This allows them to be rehabilitated, rather than incarcerated.
